Drugmaker AstraZeneca on Thursday said it received support of more than $1 billion from the US Health Departments's Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) for the development, production and delivery of University of Oxford's upcoming COVID-19 vaccine, starting in the autumn.
