Driely Meanda, a 22-year-old Instagrammer from Sao Paolo in Brazil was shocked to learn that one of her photos is being printed on women's clothes sold in Asia. Driely who is a popular Instagrammer with over three lakh followers is used to seeing her photos being circulated on social media. However, was shocked to see her pictures being used as prints on commercial clothing. It was one of her followers who informed her about the pictures being used without her consent. A fan sent Driely a picture of a mannequin wearing a T-shirt with her face in a women's clothing store in Vietnam.

According to a report in Oddity Central, Driely found out that there is a line of women's tops, blouses and T-shirts featuring her face being sold in online and offline stores. She tweeted saying, "You may think your day was crazy, but I just found out that there's a store in Asia selling T-shirts with my picture on them."

Recently, a South African author Shubnum Khan told took to social media explaining how she ended up immigration poster in a Canadian newspaper. She later learnt that her photo was also used to promote different products across the globe.

She got then tried and got in touch with the Vietnamese company, Nhà Kho Liti, who told her that the clothes were made in China and freely sold in online stores there. Nhà Kho Liti said that they bought them in bulk from there and are reselling them in Vietnam. The store apologised to Driely and offered to send her some free T-shirts and blouses with her face on them.

Later, a representative of Nhà Kho Liti wrote on their Instagram page, "We know that the beautiful girl on the shirt (3rd photo) is @meandadri. To all the fans: We already had a conversation with her and she is happy to let us use the photos. Thanks to all of you who want to protect her, you did the right thing."

According to the report, Driely has not been able to identify the manufacturer who has been using her photo without her permission. She won't be taking action against the Vietnamese company as they are not directly responsible for it. In an Instagram story, she wrote, "Its strange to even imagine that in some remote place in Asia – which I will probably never know about, someone is wearing a shirt with my face on it and they don't even know I exist … That's haha."
