New Delhi, December 5: Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the wedding reception of Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra and American singer Nick Jonas in Delhi on Tuesday evening. PM Modi also shared a picture from the reception on Instagram and congratulated the couple, writing,"Congratulations @priyankachopra and @nickjonas. Wishing you a happy married life.”
In the candid photo, Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas and PM Modi are seen greeting each other with a namaste. At the reception that was held at the Taj Mahal Palace hotel, the prime minister, who was escorted on stage by Priyanka's mother Madhu Chopra, gifted a Rose to the couple as a token of best wishes. PM Modi remained on stage for about 10 minutes, meeting Nick and Priyanka's families with folded hands and exchanging pleasantries. Priyanka introduced her brother-in-law Joe Jonas and his to-be-wife, "Game Of Thrones" actress Sophie Turner -- dressed in a beige lehenga -- to Modi, saying: "Inki Bhi Shaadi Hone Waali Hai (They are also going to get married)."

At the wedding reception in the national capital, while Priyanka was oozing radiance in a stunning sequin lehenga by Falguni-Shane Peacock, Nick opted for a more formal look, donning a black velvet tuxedo with matching shoes.
Priyanka and Nick tied the knot on December 1 and 2 in two elaborate ceremonies at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace. They first got hitched in a Christian wedding ceremony which was officiated by Nick’s father, Paul Kevin Jonas Sr. On the second day, they got married as per Hindu wedding rituals.
Interestingly, a picture of PM Modi meeting with Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli and his wife, actress Anushka Sharma became the most liked image of 2018. The picture was shared by Modi on his Instagram.
