The royals are known for putting forth their best behaviour publicly. Be it official meetings, parties, talks to the media or public interaction, they maintain their calm and follow the protocol. While adults do it without saying, it becomes a little difficult to make children follow it. Although royal kids are often complimented for being well behaved in public, they cannot be expected to be the same all the time. And in one such situation, Princess Charlotte stuck out her tongue when her mother Kate Middleton directed her wave to people waiting to meet the Royals. Video of the incident has now gone viral making social media users laugh holding their stomach. Prince George Celebrates His 6th Birthday: Kensington Palace Shares Adorable New Pictures of His Royal Highness Clicked by Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton.

Charlotte's antics left the crowd in splits who can be heard laughing in the video. The family were attending the King's Cup regatta in Cowes, the Isle of Wight when Kate bent down to her daughter encouraging her to wave to the crowd. But Charlotte showed off her tongue instead, making everyone including the royals burst into laughter. The incident was recorded as the Royals were heading to the prize-giving ceremony. And as the video went viral, social media users thanked Charlotte for giving them a good laugh. And Kate Middleton earned praises for laughing at her daughter's reaction.

Charlotte had similarly stuck out her tongue at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding as her car arrived at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle. And when it comes to sticking out tongue, the royal kids have always been a pro at it. Charlotte's older brother George has also often been captured by shutterbugs while sticking out his tongue. Meanwhile, Kate Middleton who wore shorts for the first time in the past eight years also made headlines. Social media expressed shock on seeing Kate's outfit.

The Royals were attending the charity to raise money and create awareness for eight of the charities they are patrons to. Each sailboat in the inaugural King's Cup regatta represented a charity. While Kate competed on the ship for the Royal Foundation's Early Years program, William sailed on the ship representing Child Bereavement UK. Other charities represented in the race include Centrepoint, London’s Air Ambulance Charity, Tusk Trust, Action on Addiction, Place2Be, and the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families.
