The most famous land toy train, a replica from the entertaining show, Thomas & Friends is a big-time visitors attraction at a Suffolk seafront in the Lowestoft town, England. But fans are at dismay after Thomas the Tank Engine land train got stolen from its shipping container. The 30ft long blue train which has two carriages and an orange cover disappeared overnight between July 17 and 18 after the container was found broken. According to reports, a friend of the owner, Darren Weaver suspected that a lorry has likely been used to remove the train.

Weaver told The Telegraph that the train had recently been put up for sale and had created a lot of interest among potential buyers in the country. It was stored between Kensington Gardens and St Mary’s Catholic Primary School. In the same report, Weaver was quoted saying, “We have reason to believe it is on its way to Scotland. It was parked up around 16:30 BST on Tuesday secured in the container.” The owner told the local news reporter that he was devastated. He said, “As I was approaching the container where the train is stored, I could tell something wasn’t right. When I got there, I saw the locks had been broken, and the train was gone.”

The toy train has a distinctive blue locomotive with a Thomas the Tank Engine face and an orange canopy. For several years now, the train has been a great lure at Lowestoft running children and adults up and down the South Beach Promenade. The Lowestoft Police officials are at present inspecting on the matter and had asked if anybody holds any information about the burglary must contact them. Further, the officers have been seizing CCTV footage from the area.
