YouTuber Nico Grigg, known online as "NicoIsCold," has sparked widespread online debate following the release of a viral video documenting his attempt to trespass on Little St. James or the Epstein Island. The 72-acre private island, formerly owned by the late s*x offender Jeffrey Epstein, remains a subject of intense public scrutiny as it undergoes redevelopment into a luxury resort. In the video titled "I Snuck Onto Jeffrey Epstein's Island," posted on January 30, 2026, Grigg and a group of associates are seen traveling to the US Virgin Islands. The footage details several attempts to access the property, which is currently owned by billionaire investor Stephen Deckoff.
Grigg utilised a drone to conduct initial surveillance, identifying a mystery boat and individuals present on the island. After multiple failed attempts to land, the group used rented jet skis to reach the shore. However, the incursion was cut short; Grigg reported being deterred by sea urchins on the beach and the presence of workers who appeared to be filming the group. Where Is Epstein Island?

About the Epstein Island
Little St. James was the centerpiece of a USD 105 million settlement between the Epstein estate and the US Virgin Islands government in 2022. It was purchased in 2023 by Deckoff’s firm, SD Investments, with the stated intent of creating a world-class resort.
While the island’s notorious "temple" has been repainted and various structures remodeled, the site remains strictly private. Local authorities and representatives for the property owners have repeatedly warned that unauthorized access constitutes illegal trespassing, regardless of the island's historical notoriety.
