As ISRO's third lunar mission Chandrayaan 3 successfully landed on the Moon and India became the first nation ever to touch the south pole of the lunar on Wednesday, celebrations erupted across the country. Indians celebrated the significant achievement in various states in numerous ways, as some of them made their way to the world via social media. In Maharashtra, people were seen dressed up in traditional attires while playing folk musical instruments, whereas in Gujarat's Somnath Temple, residents were seen chanting vedic mantras.
