The Congress party has termed the National Body Building Championship held in Ratlam as an insult to Hindus. The Congress says that in the name of the championship, the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the mayor of the city have made fun of Sanatan Dharma and culture. This comes after the National Body Building Championship held in Ratlam saw female competitors (bodybuilders)-- in their dresscode-- biknis, allegedly performed in front of Lord Hanuman's idol. As protest, the Congress recited Hanuman Chalisa in the Dhan Mandi area and sprinkled gangajal at the venue to purify it.
