The footage shows Verma, equipped with full protective gear and a walking stick, descending an icy ridge at the pilgrimage site, Shrikhand Mahadev. The incident occurred approximately one kilometer from the glacier, where Verma slipped on the excessive snow and fell into a 250-meter gorge in Kullu's Nirmand subdivision. Despite the efforts of rescue teams, it took 12 hours to recover his body.
