Gadkari also stated that the same would be implemented in the next three months. However, it has been two years since the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways made this remark while replying to a discussion in the Parliament in 2022. Netizens are now sharing the old video saying that one does not have to pay tolls at any toll booth within 60km of one's home. The video also shows Nitin Gadkari saying that people residing near the toll plazas would be given passes with the use of Aadhar cards.
