In a shocking incident, a lift's brakes failed, sending it flying through the top floor's ceiling on Friday night, May 10, 2024. The horrifying instance took place at Paras Tierra Society in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida. According to reports, the elevator malfunction at the society situated in Sector 137 resulted in injuries to at least three individuals. The elevator reportedly broke down while people inside were leaving Tower-5's fourth floor. Suddenly the brakes gave out and it began to ascend. The lift smashed into the roof as it reached the 25th floor. Police stated that the occurrence happened as a result of a technological error, and a probe into the matter has been initiated.
