In a shocking incident in the Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh, an LLB student was attacked with acid by a burqa-clad man. The police arrested the accused, Atul, within 36 hours of the incident. Atul, who works as a clerk for a lawyer, carried out the attack. It has been reported that the victim was also interning under the same lawyer. Recently, the student abruptly stopped talking to the accused. Angered by this, Atul threw acid on her.
