Following the conclusion of the last sessions at the old Parliament building on Monday, the remainder of the Special Session will begin on Tuesday, September 19, in the new Parliament building. Prime Minister Narendra Modi lead the march of MPs to the new Parliament building from the old one. PM Modi, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Lok Sabha LoP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Rajya Sabha LoP Mallikarjun Kharge, Rajya Sabha Leader Piyush Goyal, and Maneka Gandhi spoke at the occasion to honour the heritage of the old Parliament building.
