In a shocking incident in Gujarat, a man was allegedly stabbed inside a Jain temple in Rajkot recently. It is alleged that the man was attacked with a knife five times in 15 seconds inside the temple in Rajkot while he was praying. The victim was later identified as Amit Sagpariya, a resident of Ayodhya Society on Hari Dhawa Road in Rajkot. The incident is said to have taken place on August 20, when Amit along with his wife Reena Sagpariya, visited Shri Simandhar Swami Jain Temple located on Panchnath Plot in Rajkot. It is alleged that Amit was stabbed with a knife by his former landlord Bhavesh Gol. The entire incident was caught on CCTV installed in the temple.
