In a tragic incident, an eight-year-old boy named Vansh died after a firecracker explosion caused glass fragments to pierce his neck on October 31 in UP's Saharanpur. The incident occurred as Vansh, while bursting a firecracker outside his home in Titro during the Diwali celebration, placed a glass tumbler on top of a firecracker. Following the explosion, he sustained severe injuries as glass fragments of the tumbler pierced his neck, and his family quickly rushed him to a local private doctor, who recognized the severity of his injuries and recommended immediate transfer to a higher medical facility.
