The Uttar Pradesh police recently arrested an IRS officer for allegedly killing a BHEL employee at his flat in Noida. The accused has been identified as Saurabh Meena, a 2016-batch Indian Revenue Service officer. The alleged incident came to light after the body of BHEL deputy manager Shilpa Gautam was found in her live-in partner's room in Noida on May 25. Police officials said that Meena is accused of murdering Gautam. They also said the couple met on a dating app and were in a relationship for three years.
