Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Waikar's Brother-in-Law Had Mobile Phone That Unlocks EVMs at Counting Centre, Priyanka Chaturvedi Alleges 'Fraud at Highest Level'

Shiv Sena UBT Leader Priyanka Chaturvedi slammed ECI on Sunday, June 16, for keeping silent over the alleged malpractice by Ravindra Waikar's brother-in-law at a counting centre in Mumbai. In a tweet on X, Chaturvedi wrote, "This is a fraud at the highest level and yet the @ECISVEEP continues to sleep." This follows after Mumbai police registered a case against Waikar's brother-in-law Mangesh Pandilkar for using the phone, which generated the OTP to unlock the EVMs used at NESCO Centre on June 4. Calling Waikar a "manipulated winner", Chaturvedi stated, "If ECI doesn’t step in, this will be the biggest election result scam after Chandigarh Mayor election and will see this battle in the courts.
