A 65-year-old farmer, Jayaprakash Yadav, collapsed and died during a farmer training programme at the Agriculture Bhawan auditorium in Ballia on Friday. Yadav, a retired teacher and progressive farmer from Sarianv village in Nawanagar, was sharing his experiences on lemon farming when he suddenly collapsed. He was immediately rushed to the district hospital, where doctors declared him dead, citing a heart attack as the cause. The tragic incident was caught on camera. A three-day training programme organised by the Horticulture Department had started on Thursday.
