In a brazen theft at Kosgi's Chowk Bazaar in Telangana, unknown individuals broke a car window and stole over Rs 3 lakh. Venkatesh, a resident of Kosgi, intended to deposit the money into a private housing finance company, Aptus, in Narayanpet to pay his home loan installment. Unable to secure a demand draft from another bank, he returned to Aptus to discuss the issue with bank officials. During this time, the thieves, who had been tailing his car, seized the opportunity and broke the driver's side window, fleeing with the cash.
