Two people died while several Tajiadars suffered burn injuries after coming in contact with high-tension wire during Muharram procession in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur on Thursday, July 18. This is followed by an explosion as people run helter-skelter for cover. Responding to the incident, Kehri police took to social media X, foremerly twitter and confirmed the incident. The police confirmed the accident occurred under the jurisdiction of Mohammadi police station, with officials dispatched to the scene.
