Residents of Chiplun were not prepared to see a huge crocodile passing the Shivandi bridge during a busy period, causing a commotion among the locals. The video shows a mugger crocodile moving down the bridge at night, offering quite the sight. It has been reported that there has been an increase in the number of crocodiles in the Shiv River Basin. Despite repeated complaints from citizens to the Chiplun Municipal Council and the Forest Department, those in charge are yet to provide guidance or take action on the issue.
