This year marks the tenth anniversary of International Yoga Day, dedicated to the significance and many benefits of the ancient practise of yoga. With the theme "Yoga for Self and Society," International Day of Yoga 2024 is observed with much enthusiasm in India and worldwide. Thousands of yogis took over Times Square in New York for 'Yoga Solstice,' which shows people celebrating the summer solstice with an entire day of outdoor yoga sessions. Indian Army personnel were also captured performing yoga in the icy heights on the northern frontier and in eastern Ladakh. Sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik made a beautiful creation at the Puri beach in Odisha in honour of Yoga Day 2024.
