Roblox, a very popular gaming platform meant for children, has been banned by the Turkish government. The gaming platform has its own universe of games, with children being the primary target. Users can either make their own games or play games that are made by others. They can even communicate with each other on the platform. Though the gaming platform might be engaging and useful for learning purposes, there have been reports of sexually explicit content being made available on the platform that exploits children, increasing reports of paedophilia, and encouraging children to participate in problematic activities.
