Imane Khelif, who was at the centre of a gender controversy at the Paris Olympics 2024, has filed a lawsuit against 'cyber harassment' against Tesla CEO Elon Musk and popular writer JK Rowling, among others. There were several claims made on social media stating that the Algerian boxer was a 'biological male' after failing a gender test last year, but the International Olympic Committee (IOC) backed the boxer's inclusion at the Paris Olympics 2024. In a report by Variety, Khelif's attorney, Nabil Boudi, stated that these two prominent figures were among those named in the complaint. Khelif won the gold medal in the women's 66kg boxing event.
