Jos Buttler and co registered their first win of the tournament when they beat Oman in just 3.1 overs, which gave their Net Run Rate (NRR) a massive boost. The defending champions then defeated Namibia and would have needed Australia to defeat Scotland in order to qualify. The Aussies did them the favour as they beat a spirited Scotland side by five wickets.
