James Anderson received the honorary life membership of MCC following retirement from International Cricket. Anderson retired after England defeated West Indies by an innings and 114 runs, which was the last Test match of Anderson's International career. Following the Test, in the post-match presentation, MCC President Mark Nicholas handed him the honorary membership. Anderson played 188 Test matches in his career and scalped 704 wickets.
