Gautam Gambhir was confirmed as India’s new head coach, as he replaces outgoing champion coach Rahul Dravid. His IPL franchise, KKR congratulated the star batter on the appointment and also mentioned that there is no bigger honour than coaching your national team.

After days of speculation over the new Head coach of the India National Cricket Team, front-runner Gautam Gambhir was finally announced as the new head coach of the Indian Cricket Team. KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders) the 2024 IPL (Indian Premier League) winners congratulated Gautam Gambhir for his appointment. Gambhir won two IPL titles with KKR as a player and also led the side to the title as a mentor. KKR said to have offered a blank cheque to keep him associated with the franchise only. But after the appointment showed a big heart congratulating the star batter. They also added there is no bigger honour than coaching your national team hinting at their try to keep hold of the left-handed batter.
