Mohammed Shami has been looking to make a comeback to the India National Cricket Team since he got his surgery done. Shami played his last match for India in November 2023 and has missed out on the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 and T20 World Cup 2024 since then. Shami underwent surgery in February 2024 to repair his Achilles tendon.
