Atlanta United and Inter Miami have secured a point each after Aleksei Miranchuk scored a late equaliser for the home side. Lionel Messi-led side were unable to defend well, resulting in a 2-2 draw.

Aleksei Miranchuk scored an important equaliser for Atlanta United in the 84th minute, helping them hold off Lionel Messi and Co for a 2-2 draw. Inter Miami were in the lead after a goal each by David Ruiz and Leonardo Campana. Lionel Messi was brought in late from the bench in the 61st minute which resulted in the Argentine forward not making much impact. Messi's shots were saved by Atlanta United's goalkeeper Brad Guzan.
