The Indian team finished second behind Vietnam. Earlier, the 4x400m mixed relay team had won the gold medal and also scripted a national record.
The Indian women's 4x400m relay team won the silver medal at the Asian Relay Championships 2024 on Tuesday, May 21. The team comprising Vithya Ramraj, M. R. Poovamma, Rupal and Prachi Choudhary clocked a timing of 3:33.55 seconds to finish behind Vietnam in the race. Vietnam created a new national record by clocking 3:30.81 seconds to win the gold medal in this event. Japan won bronze with a timing of 3:36.56 seconds.
