According to a spokesperson, Binance US Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Brian Shroder has quit the cryptocurrency trading platform and has been temporarily replaced by Chief Legal Officer Norman Reed. The departure occurs as a regulatory crackdown erodes the firm run by troubled digital entrepreneur Changpeng "CZ" Zhao, who is cutting around one third of its staff, or more than 100 roles. For US consumers who are unable to utilise Binance Holdings, the exchange was launched in 2019. Its official name is BAM Trading Services Inc. Binance, Leading Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Platform, Ordered To Cease Services in Belgium.
