Huawei Mate XT Unveiled in China: World’s First Triple-Fold Smartphone Introduced With 10.2-Inch Display After iPhone 16 Launch; Check Details
Huawei unveiled world's first triple-fold smartphone, the Huawei Mate XT, in China to take on Apple iPhone 16 series. The smartphone comes with thin design and 10.2-inch large display. It is more expensive than the top-model of iPhone, OnePlus Open and other foldables.
After five years in development, Huawei has unveiled its new tri-fold smartphone, Huawei Mate XT, in China after the iPhone 16 launch on September 9. The latest smartphone comes with three foldable displays and has a considerably slim design for a smartphone offering triple folds. Boasting a 10.2-inch display, this smartphone has a unique z-shaped fold and a 3.6mm width. The Huawei Mate XT was launched in China to take on Apple's recently launched iPhone 16 series, including the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Chinese people criticised Apple's new offering for not having AI features in the country. Marketed as the world's slimmest foldable phone, the company has not unveiled Mate XT price and full specifications. It is estimated that the device's price could be around CNY 20,000 (around INR 2.35 lakh). The sale of the device will begin on September 20, 2024.
