OpenAI introduced new 'fine-tuning' capability to its GPT-4o mini AI model, offering an affordable solution to users in place of GPT-4o. The AI company announced this new fine-tuning feature to help the users customise the GPT-4o mini, and it is now available for tier 4 and tier 5 users. OpenAI said its GPT-4o mini will be rolled out gradually across all tiers. The Sam Altman-run company offered the first 2 million training tokens a day free through September 23, 2024. The new GPT-4o mini introduced by OpenAI few days ago is a cheaper version yet offers powerful performance across different benchmarks. OpenAI ChatGPT-4o mini is faster due to its smaller size and is suitable for various devices, including smartphones.
