On the same day, Jonah Katz, an engineer at X Corp, shared an update mentioning the enhanced long-form video experience for X on iOS. Elon Musk-run X has relaunched its long video UI on iOS, offering its users an improved and smoother experience. The new update allows viewers to scroll through replies directly below the video and easily drag down the video if necessary and return to the Home screen. The landscape button now lets you switch to full screen mode to enhance the viewing experience. Additionally, users can double-tap to skip ahead or behind and long press to fast forward. The new UI also introduces an immersive mode that can be accessed by dragging down the bottom area to allow viewers to watch videos distraction-free.
