A 17-year-old Florida teen is facing a felony charge after allegedly setting his friend on fire during a shocking incident that left the victim seriously injured. Bradey Ming, 17, has been charged with felony aggravated battery, according to investigators. Deputies allege that Ming poured gasoline onto an active fire and deliberately created a trail leading toward the victim. Authorities say he then threw gasoline directly onto his friend, causing severe burns. The victim was rushed to a hospital with second-degree burns on his hand and leg. Medical reports cited by Fox 35 state that he also suffered a “deep full-thickness burn” to his lower right leg, lower left leg, and left thigh, indicating significant tissue damage. Law enforcement officials have not disclosed a motive for the alleged act. Ming is currently being held without bond as the investigation continues.
