Ace Indian shuttler PV Sindhu recently had to settle for the second consecutive silver medal in the Badminton World Championship after losing to Spain’s Carolina Marin in the final match. The 23-year-old has, however, hit back at her critics saying that her “silver sparkles”. Sindhu lost to Marin 21-19, 21-10 in the final of women’s singles of BWF World Championship 2018.

Sindhu posted a picture of her with the silver medal and in the lengthy caption wrote: “Never give up, never give in, and when the upper hand is ours, may we have the ability to handle the win with the dignity that we absorbed the loss” – dough Williams. I believe that patience and persistence make un-beatable combination for success, hence have complete faith that my gold shall come soon!! Sidhu recently said that she will work hard for the upcoming Asian Games and is hoping to dish out better performance this time. The Asian Games 2018 are scheduled to be held from August 18 to September 02 in Indonesia.
