Ajinkya Rahane, who was recently blessed with a baby girl, has announced the name of his newborn daughter. The team India Test vice-captain took to social media to reveal the name of his one-month and a day old little princess. Rahane and his wife Radhika Dhopavkar were blessed with a baby girl on October 5, 2019. The Indian cricketer was at that time busy playing the first Test match against South Africa in Visakhapatnam. Meanwhile, the India Test batting mainstay has also rediscovered his form and last month ended his three-year wait for a Test century on home soil. The 31-year-old scored 115 runs, which included 17 boundaries and one maximum, and was involved in a 260-plus runs partnership with Rohit Sharma to rescue India from a precarious situation.

Rahane married his childhood friend Radhika in 2014. The couple had first met in school and were friends since then before tying the knot on September 26, 2014. Rahane scored 216 runs from four innings as India clean-swept South Africa 3-0 to record a historic 11 successive Test series wins at home.
