After winning India vs Australia 2018-19 Test series by 2-1, Ajinkya Rahane has returned back to India. The Indian vice-captain will go on to lead the India A side for the matches against English Lions. The BCCI made an announcement of the same on Saturday for the touring side. The India A team will play five one-day games and a couple of four-day matches. The Board’s President Team was selected by the BCCI for the two-day warm-up games. The warm match against English Lions is all set to begin on February 3, 2019. The five-day One-day games will begin from January 23, 2019, at Thiruvananthapuram. The two four-day games will be held in Wayanad from February 7.

Ishan Kishan has been selected for the role of wicketkeeper-batsman in the first three one-dayers. He is also a part of the two-day warm-up games. Wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant also made his way into the fourth and the fifth one-dayers. Pacer Sharduk Thakur will feature in all the five games. Check out the teams below:
