Hosts England defeated Afghanistan by 150 runs in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 (CWC 2019) match 24. England posted their highest team total in World Cup history after skipper Eoin Morgan’s 148 off just 71 balls. In response to England’s 397, Afghanistan managed 247 for eight. In response to England’s total, Afghanistan did well to some extent. Despite losing the first wicket in the first over, Afghanistan showed signs of the fight as they posted 247. Mujeeb did really well, did his job.
