Virat also broke many other records during his match-winning half-century in the first T20I. The right-handed batsman scored his 22nd fifty-plus in T20I which are most for any batsman. Along with that, the skipper also became the only batsman to have 50 plus average in all three formats.

Coming to the India vs South Africa T20I series, the third and the final encounter will be played in Bengaluru on Septemeber 22. India have already taken an unassailable lead and will look to clinch the series. While South Africa will look to bounce back and square the series 1-1.
