Virat Kohli’s on-field aggression is one of the hot topics in the cricket world these days. While many have criticised Kohli for his behaviour, the Indian cricket team captain has found some support from former Pakistan fast-bowler Shoaib Akhtar. The former pacer himself was known for aggression during his playing days. Akhtar took to his Twitter account to express his views regarding Kohli’s behaviour. Mitchell Johnson Takes a Sly Dig at Virat Kohli; Says Indian Captain Obsessed With Australia.

“@imVkohli is one of the modern greats of the game. Aggression has been a part & parcel of competitive cricket, specially when you are playing Down Under as long as it stays in limit. Please cut him some slack,” Akhtar tweeted.

Recently, senior Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah tagged Kohli as the "world's worst behaved player” though he rated him as the best batsman. Meanwhile, former Australian fast bowler Dennis Lillee has also come in support of Kohli as well and called him a great player. Jasprit Bumrah Reminds Me of Jeff Thomson, Says Dennis Lillee; Calls Virat Kohli A Great Player!

“I think he is a great player. There is no need for me to even say because everyone knows that. What makes Virat great is first of all great technique, determination, balance and the time he has got to play the deliveries,” Lillee was quoted as saying by Ananda Bazar Patrika.

The four-match Test series between India and Australia is currently levelled at one each. India won the first Test and then home side, Australia, bounced back to draw level at Perth. The third and penultimate Test match takes place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on December 26.
