The Indian team suffered from a disappointing loss in the T20I series against Australia a couple of days ago. The Aussies whitewashed the two-match T20I game and proved their dominance into the format. It was Glenn Maxwell’s century that actually took away the match from the hosts and the series stood at 2-0. The team today, was seen sweating it out in the nets and looked extremely determined to turn around the results in the ODIs. With the World Cup 2019 just a few games away, the Indian team would surely want to tie up the loose ends of the game. Talking about the first ODI, KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant could stay in the playing XI. KL Rahul who did extremely well T20I series would be quite an obvious choice. Whereas, the onus is on Rishabh Pant to make the most of the opportunities given to him. Hardik Pandya who has come back from an injury could make a comeback, which means Vijay Shankar could be excluded.
