Kieron Pollard is having a tough time at the IPL 2018. So far in 7 matches, the Jamaican all-rounder has scored only 76 runs with an average of 15.20. Even yesterday against the match with Royal Challengers Bangalore, he could score only 13 runs off 13 balls. Thus Pollard has been on the receiving end for the being a non-performer.

Twitterati slammed him for by posting nasty tweets after Mumbai Indians lost to RCB by 14 runs. Most of them said that Pollard’s magic is fading out. Actor Mahesh Manjrekar was the first one to talk about Pollard. He wrote, “Do you think Kieron Pollard can find a place in the Tripura or J&K Ranji trophy team? Just a thought!!.”

“@amolsurwase @sanjaymanjrekar Mahesh manjarekar trying to do a Sanjay manjarekar here. But totally agree with him. Why on the earth Pollard is still in MI squad when someone like JP Duminy is warming the bench,” wrote another Twitterati.

“Mumbai Indians Should Replace Kieron Pollard With This Young Talent From Gujarat, Hardik Patel. Still A Better Batsman. #RCBvMI #RCBvsMI #MumbaiIndians pic.twitter.com/U8vDIlqkBg,” read another post.

“Kieron Pollard may have well played his last IPL match. Such a poor call by MI to retain him for this season. No one would have touched him else,” read a post.

According to this Twitter user, Pollard needs to retire.

“Why kieron pollard and ben cutting like million dollars players are in mumbai indians team???just for show off??,” read a post.

“Kieron Pollard doesn't deserve to play even a single game from now on in #IPL2018 .His dismissals have been very silly.Looks completely out of form & @mipaltan wasted RTM on Kieron. He gave fielding practice catches to De Kock and Dhawan in his last games. #RCBvMI #CricketMeriJaa,” wrote this Twitter user.

The all-rounder too was disappointed with his performance thus Kieron Pollard put up a post with a quote which read, “Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly.” Hardik Pandya obviously read the post and wrote, “kerion.pollard55 my strong brother.” Dwayne Bravo, who represents CSK had a few words for Pollard. He wrote, “You’re great and will always be great stay strong my friend.”

After losing the match, captain Rohit Sharma said, “It is disappointing to be on the losing side. We got ourselves to blame though. Didn't play smart cricket, losing wickets in the powerplay didn't help. We wanted to keep ticking with the scoreboard. Credit to RCB, they bowled really well, it was a tough wicket and they kept us guessing."
