Delhi Daredevils’ Rishabh Pant last evening dented the dreamy bowling line up of Sunrisers Hyderabad with a blistering inning of 128 from 63 balls. As he scored those tall sixes and fours, anger was brewing in the mind of the youngster. Pant, who has been one of the key performers for Delhi Daredevils, missed the bus for the senior team to Afghanistan, England and Ireland. This has angered Pant and after scoring big last night at the Feroz Shah Kotla, he had a message for the selectors.

While speaking about his innings, Rishabh said, “I was angry with the selectors for not selecting me in Indian Senior Team against Afghanistan, England or even Ireland. All my anger came out tonight in form of those shots. Hope they saw my innings and realized I deserve a place in Indian Team." His innings garnered praises from all many cricketers including Ajit Agarkar, Sourav Ganguly, Virender Sehwag and many more.

Ajit Agarkar wrote, “Incredibly special 100 by Rishabh Pant #IPL2018.”

Sourav Ganguly wrote, “Saw McCullum in 2008..rishab pant innings right up there .. what a knock @bcci.@DelhiDaredevils @ParthJindal11.”

“Rishabh Pant has got to be one of the most fearless and powerful young batsmen I have ever come across. First T20 💯. Congratulations.👏👏👏👏,” read Ian Bishop’s post.

“Really special innings from Rishabh. Those were not bad balls from Bhuvi in the last over barring the last full toss, but Rishabh Pant is really special and I hope he is nurtured well. #DDvSRH,” wrote Virender Sehwag.

Mohammad Kaif’s Twitter post read, “One handed sixes and hitting even good balls out of the park. This was as good an innings you will ever see in a T-20 match against the best bowling line up in the IPL, absolutely clean striking. Take a bow, Rishabh Pant #DDvSRH.”

Talking about Rishabh’s innings last night, he hammered 15 fours and 7 sixes in his innings and thus became the first player to score a century in IPL 2018 with the strike rate of 203.17 . Pant became the 13th Indian batsman to score a century in the history of IPL.
