Mumbai Indians (MI) have made it to yet another Indian Premier League (IPL) final. The three-time champions will be up against another three-time winner Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the final of IPL 2019 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. This is the fifth time Mumbai Indians have made it to the finals of IPL. In the league stage of IPL 2019, Mumbai Indians won nine out of 14 matches and topped the points table after having a superior run-rate than Chennai Super Kings. MI’s biggest win in terms of runs in the league stage of IPL 2019 interestingly came against CSK by 46 runs.

The Rohit Sharma-led side was the third team after CSK and Delhi Capitals (DC) to qualify for IPL 2019 playoffs.
