Suresh Raina recently underwent knee surgery and former South African cricketer Jonty Rhodes came up with a heartfelt message for the Indian cricketer. BCCI on Friday had shared a photo of Raina lying on a hospital bed on their Twitter account. The Indian cricket board informed that Raina underwent successful surgery and will take four to six week to recover. Replying on the post, Rhodes wrote a sincere message with a piece of nice advice for the 32-year-old Indian cricketer. Jonty Rhodes Applies for Position of India's Fielding Coach. 

Calling the left-handed batsman an inspiration for many, Rhodes advised Raina to listen to his body. “U have been an inspiration to so many with your incredible work ethic over your career, especially these last couple of years. Listen to your body now my friend - knowing u, u will want to be out training tomorrow #aramse”, the 50-year-old Rhodes wrote. Have a look at the tweet.

Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant also commented on the post and wished a speedy recovery to Raina. Rhodes has applied for the post of Team Indian fielding coach. Rhodes is regarded as one of the greatest fielders of all time. BCCI had invited applications for the position of the head coach and support staff for the Indian team. At present, R Sridhar is the fielding coach of the Indian team who has been given a 45-day extension. Raina has been out of the Indian team for quite a long time. He last played for India in July 2018, in an ODI against England at Headingley. However, he has a constant presence in IPL playing for Chennai Super Kings.
