MS Dhoni who recently set a record for being the second-most capped player of India after Rahul Dravid, is handling the reins of the team, which will play against Afghanistan at the Dubai International Stadium, UAE. MS Dhoni fans will be quite rejoiced to watch him lead the side after 696 days. The last time they watched him don the hat of the skipper was for the IPL 2018 for the Chennai Super Kings. The last time Dhoni captained the international ODI side was in 2017 against England. Coming back to the match between India and Afghanistan, this will be the 200th time that the wicket-keeper batsman will be captaining  India.

When MS Dhoni walked out for the toss, he took people by surprise. However, MS Dhoni’s colleague Kedar Jadhav obviously knew about the special occasion and even shared a picture with the former Indian captain without revealing the reason.
