England thrashed India yesterday at Lord’s in the second test match by an inning and 159 runs. Needless to say that everything that India did went wrong for them. The top order collapsed once again and that left the guests with on a paltry score of 107 and 130 respectively. It was Ravichandran Ashwin who made the highest score in both the innings with 29 and 33 runs respectively. Captain Virat Kohli also admitted that the combination went wrong. But that just did not stop the critics from giving out their comments for the dismal performance by Team India. Now, master blaster Sachin Tendulkar also has a piece of advice for Team India.

He took to Twitter and showed heaps of praises on the English team but also asked the Indians to pull up their socks for the upcoming game. He also praised the Stuart Broad and Chris Woakes for their performance. “An all-round performance by England. Excellent spells of fast bowling by @jimmy9 and @StuartBroad8, with a fine performance by @chriswoakes.  We’ve got to pull up our socks and produce better cricket India. #ENGvIND,” read Sachin Tendulkar’s tweet.

After losing the match, Harbhajan Singh spoke to a news channel and said Ravi Shastri should be made accountable for the loss. “The coach has to come on record, today or tomorrow he has to speak up. He is answerable to everyone. If India loses the series, then he might have to eat his words and admit that conditions do make a lot of difference.” He also went on to say that Indian lacked fighting spirit. “We haven't showed any intent to fight back. The willingness to win is missing and that is most disheartening. We are losing without posing any challenge to the opponent. It is extremely disappointing."
