Sania Mirza Rubbishes Pakistan’s Abhinandan Varthaman TV Ad and Star Sport’s Mauka Mauka Video Ahead of IND vs PAK Match; Calls It Cringeworthy

With India taking on rivals Pakistan on June 16, Sunday, at the Old Trafford in Manchester, the broadcasters from both sides of the border are busy promoting the big clash on their respective platforms. Recently, Pakistan TV channel aired a promotional advertisement for the match wherein a character mimicking Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman was shown. This comes after Star Sports, the official broadcaster in India, released a promotional video for the match around the Father’s Day theme. Meanwhile, India’s Tennis star Sania Mirza, who is married to Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik, took to Twitter and slammed the broadcasters on both sides of the border.
