Shikhar Dhawan hasn’t fired in the ongoing ODI series against Australia, but the dashing Indian opening batsman was gung-ho about India’s chances in the final match of the 3-match series. Talking at the pre-match press conference, Dhawan said that it would be a big and interesting match for both India and Australia tomorrow (at the MCG).

Talking ahead of the 3rd ODI match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on January 18, Shikhar Dhawan said, “We are looking forward to an exciting final. It will mean a lot to us, and it is always good to come over here and get a win under the belt and winning both the Test series and if we win the game tomorrow; it will be a big achievement for us, and of course, we are going to value it and cherish it." Shikhar Dhawan also defended the under-fire bowlers saying that it was nothing usual with what happened. Backing the fast bowlers, the flamboyant Indian opener said, “They are young blokes, and of course we back them, and that’s how they are going to learn. When they play against a good side, if they go for runs, that’s when they can lift themselves and think more about the game and the strategies.” India vs Australia, 3rd ODI 2019: Check Out the Weather Forecast of Melbourne as Men in Blue Hunt for Glory.
